Family Boy Famiclone Review

Hello! Today I will be reviewing the family boy!

 Lets start with the design! It in fact looks a bit ugly.

 On the back we have a power adapter imput (it takes any famiclone power supply, but not an nes power supply), and the mono av out jacks.

 It has those genesis/atari plugs, but genesis controllers dont work, I tried.

 It has a pretty nice controller, it has turbo buttons, the only problem is the alot of buttons are kind of loud. Sadly I only have 2 famicom controllers (one is garbage) so I need to try and hunt down some more controllers for this system.

 It plays official games.

 And pirates!

 But look at what happens when you turn it on with no cartridge! It has games of its own!

1. Mush Room

 A hack of super mario bros with changed sprites, music, and many of the sound effects.

2. Gobang

 I can't even tell if this is a hack or not, I think its an Othello game, but I belive its by nintendo because I has some sound effects that were later used in Luigi's Manson for the Gamecube.

3. Hoodle

 An under the sea themed hack of pinball for the NES. It has lower pitched music, and changed sprites.

4. Golfer

 A slight hack of Golf on the NES. But with brighter colors and they replaced mario with some other guy.

5. Combat

Some weird ninja game. Once again, I dont know if its a hack or not.

6. Crypt Car

 A Dig Dug hack with higher pitched music, and they changed the sprites to tanks, koopas, and dogs with army helmets.

7. Chess

A Hack of Othello for the NES. But all it has are darker colors, and higher pitched music, and its not chess, its still othello.

8. Porter

This is nothing but Mega Soft/Caltron Porter. Nothing else to say.

 Man, too bad this thing can't play NES games, or can it?

And there! When I use this converter, it plays nes games! Now thats all to say for the Family boy.
